DRAs by Masters Communications – link here

Digital Radio Adapter (DRA) is my 1st choice as the owner Kevin Custer is very helpful and responsive. Using many of the DRAs, they are built well. Choice of mini-din6, RJ45 or DB9 as connector to the radio making it easy to built interface cables when needed. It is also the choice of some US emcomm agencies and Winlink gateway sysops. You can buy the kit form or assembled and tested form, I bought the assembled and tested form as I want it to just work, not going to trouble shoot my soldering work when it is for serious usage like EMCOMM and gateway usage.

Very versatile, I have one. With its micro-phone pass through, I managed to make my FTM-400 do Winlink and Voice without swapping the Mic and Winlink connection in and out. Tech support is also responsive. Its overkill if it is just for Winlink only, can do much more. They have cheaper models too.

Easy Digi Audio Interface by Clifford – ebay store link here

Bought the kit at about US$9 after my basic qualification, assembled it and doing Winlink with VHF/UHF handhelds and mobiles. Need to solder and make your own cables. Clifford is helpful but usually only 1 radio per card he sold you. I have not tested it for 9600 baud. As this is only an audio interface, you need to add a USB soundcard to complete it as a Soundcard Interface.

Have not owned or used one. Very popular years ago but not so much now. Older versions does not support 9600 baud. They sell cables for most radios

This is a popular one due to its size and selling most cables. Have not owned or used one. Seems to have good reviews.

Mobilinkd TNC4 by Mobilinkd – link here
This is a very portable unit and works with iPhone and Android Phones via bluetooth. Own one too. They sell cables for many radios as well. Support is also responsive. My 1st choice if you want to do Winlink portable with a phone and handheld. Unfortuntately it is a TNC so cannot do VARA FM.
